Aversano’s Italian Restaurant in Sumner, WA is not a stuffy restaurant you wouldn’t dare to bring your children. Aversano’s is a popular restaurant for family members of all ages and tastes. In our last blog we shared some of our popular kid friendly dishes from our menu. Below are some more dishes from our Italian food menu that are very popular with our local patrons.
Rigatoni: This pasta noodle is tube-shaped pasta, larger than penne and ziti. This allows for a lot of space to take on the rest of the dish. We serve our rigatoni with sweet sausage and spice heirloom tomato cream sauce
Cheese Tortellini: This ring shaped pasta is traditionally stuffed with Italian prosciutto and cheese. Our is as well, and we sauteed our tortellini with garlic, mushrooms, oven-roasted tomatoes.
Chicken Marsala: This delicious chicken dish is a crowd pleaser, a picky to a cultured eater. We pan-sear the herb-crusted chicken with portobello mushrooms, sweet marsala cream sauce and serve with linguine.
Chicago Style Pan Pizza: We typically have one Chicago Style Pizza on our menu, currently we still have our Summer Special. This pizza is a Deep Dish Pizza that has Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Mushroom, and Olives. Onions and Green Peppers are also available upon request. Remember to allow 30 minutes to prepare & bake a Deep Dish Pizza. This means if you’re dining with us that means extra time during busy hours to prepare your meal.
