Aversano's Restaurant is more than a place to enjoy a great meal — it is part of a remarkable piece of Washington history. At the heart of the restaurant stands a fine hand-carved back bar built in 1897 by the Brunswick-Balke-Collender Company in Alabama. After traveling around South America's Cape Horn, the historic bar made its way to Seattle, where it was installed in the Mecca Saloon on First Avenue in 1915. It later traveled to Cle Elum, serving as a saloon bar through Prohibition before becoming part of the Aitorest Cafe from 1918 to 1976. In 1977, the bar found a new home in Sumner at HARDTIMES, continuing its journey until becoming part of the story at Aversano's. Today, that remarkable piece of history remains a centerpiece of an atmosphere where good food, hospitality, and local character come together.

Very fun place for dinner! The decor is really fun with an old time fun feel. The service was excellent and the food was good. The salad bar is a nice touch. Definitely worth a stop, especially for people who like to have a lot of things to look at during a meal.
Absolutely amazing experience yesterday! The service was top-notch AND they were packed (around 5pm)! The waitress did an amazing job! The lasagna was the best it's ever been and my drink stayed topped off! I'm definitely appreciative that the owners keep pricing VERY competitive and the quality hasn't suffered.
This was our first visit and we had a great time! The staff was friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious. Our portions were massive! We had a great experience and will definitely be visiting again soon!
